SECURING STEAM NETWORK RELIABILITY

While leaking steam wastes money, a trap failing 'closed' threatens the entire production line. When condensate cannot be evacuated, it backs up into the system, leading to poor heat transfer, corrosion, and dangerous water hammer that can rupture pipes.
Real-time monitoring of temperature and pressure is the only way to ensure condensate is properly discharged, protecting both your process quality and the physical integrity of your steam network.

Continuous Upstream/Downstream Trap Monitoring

With Harvestree, steam traps can be monitored continuously by measuring temperature and/or pressure upstream and downstream of the trap using standard probes. The module tracks the differential behavior over time—highlighting abnormal patterns such as reduced temperature drop, persistent backpressure, or unstable cycles—so teams can quickly identify traps that are not discharging condensate properly. This enables targeted maintenance before performance loss or mechanical stress escalates, improving energy efficiency while protecting the reliability and integrity of the steam network.
